Hi, I'm Ronald Straubel!
I am a German furniture and product designer with a Master’s degree from the Academy of Art and Design Halle, Burg Giebichenstein.
Rooted in the principles of Bauhaus design, my work focuses on a clear, minimalist design language that combines timeless aesthetics, functionality, and precision. I work at the intersection of product design and design research, with a strong focus on form, materiality, and a reduced, precise design attitude.
In my conceptual work, I engage with international design brands such as HAY, Cassina, Profim, and Flokk, analyzing their design language and translating these observations into my own design approaches.
I specialize in sustainable furniture design for workspaces, offices, and public environments—places where durability, comfort, and high usability are essential. Each piece is developed with careful attention to detail, combining innovation with ecological responsibility. This approach results in long-lasting furniture such as chairs, sofas, and tables.
My design philosophy is to create spatial experiences that go beyond pure functionality: furniture that meets the highest standards of durability, enriches everyday life, and leaves a lasting impression.
